Yes, new headlights can be expensive from Ford, especially if yours are xenon/HID. Plenty of people have bought aftermarket because of that. You can try dielectric grease on the metal connections, if there is looseness in some connection, it can help keep things from moving around as well as keep moisture out (if you live somewhere wet.)
