Jesus Christ Superstar the Musical Lyrics Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. It highlights political and interpersonal struggles between Judas Iscariot and Jesus.
Jesus Christ Superstar is my favorite musical, but every older person I've mentioned it to seems to think it's "sacrilegious". I don't understand how it is disrespectful to Christianity, because from my perspective it's just a retelling of the Bible with character analysis. Is it offensive because it's theatrical? Hey Sanna Sanna Sanna Hosanna. Hey Sanna Hosanna. Hey JC, JC won't you smile at me? Sanna Hosanna. Hey Superstar. CAIAPHAS. Tell the rabble to be quiet, we anticipate a riot. This common crowd, is much too loud. Tell the mob who sing your song that they are fools and they are wrong.| Е псонυδ | Угሯс κυдоቅ |

Then We Are Decided lyrics. We've been sitting on the fence for far too long. Why let him upset us? Caiaphas, let him be. He really doesn't matter. We've let him go his way before. We theorize and chatter. He's just another scripture thumping hack from Galilee.
